In the scope of the “Larnaka’s Loyal Friends” programme of the Larnaca Tourism Development and Promotion Company (ETAP), visitors from the United Kingdom and Canada who travel to Larnaca nearly every year were recognised.
According to ETAP’s press release, “the Company, the Pyla Community Council, and the Golden Bay Hotel honoured Najanda Macleod, Mark Green, and Peter Boucher for their respective visits to Larnaca of 15, 27, and 39. Mr. Boucher has been travelling to Larnaca and staying at this specific hotel since 1986.
The repeat visitors claim that they “pick the province of Larnaca and in particular the area of Pylas for their holidays, for the nice beaches and the sunny weather, the convenient location but above all for the friendly and hospitable residents.”
The article said, “Everyone commended the service, the kind treatment, and the desire of the hotel employees, which is one of the most essential factors in why they want to return each year.
According to a statement, “Larnaka Region ranks first among coastal cities in the percentage of return visitors at 60%. With the tagline “They Always Come Back” and the flamingo as its major symbol, ETAP Larnaca debuts this first in its campaign. Travellers also consistently return to Larnaca.

Nice to see Mr Kyriakos Shiakallis from the Golden Bay Hotel in the picture . Been visiting this hotel in Larnaca since 1984 , Kyriakos is always there to welcome us with a smile. The staff at this hotel are exceptional and have made it the place to go.
