Since the fifteenth century, Edinburgh has been regarded as Scotland’s capital. It is home to the Scottish Parliament, the Scottish Government, and Scotland’s top courts. The Scottish monarchy’s formal residence is the city’s Palace of Holyroodhouse.
A wide variety of stores and some of Edinburgh’s top eateries can be found in the New Town. You may even climb to the top of Arthur’s Seat, an extinct volcano with the greatest views of the entire city, if you’re feeling very daring.
The capital city hosts numerous tourist attractions. The variety of things you may do and see makes a trip here well worth it. Over time, the majority of the buildings in Old Town have maintained their original form.
It also offers a lot of green space; in fact, Princes Street Gardens was named the best park in the UK outside of London. Visitors can go to Portobello Beach for even more of a get away.
