How do you choose your travelling destination?
I would normally have a list of countries that I would like to visit and also my choice depends on my budget. You can google search the cheapest travelling destinations and dozens of choices will come up.
You can also choose the not-so-cheap destinations that will be a totally different experience once you arrive at those unique destinations.
European countries are easily accessible, and therefore, cheaper but you also have destinations like Bali, Indonesia, Japan, China, and Russia that are usually long hours of travelling but they are well worth visiting.
For some people to get to such destinations, sometimes, they have to spend the whole day on the plane but for them, it doesn’t matter. It all comes down to your choices.
In some countries, you will also need long hours of travelling, but when you get there, everything is extremely cheap. Therefore, it will cost the same as if you were visiting a nearby European country where everything you buy is expensive.
Some destinations are best if you are interested in having some action, for example, you can visit countries that have mountains that are offered for mountain climbing.
Other places are best for long walks in the city centre or renting a car and exploring the not-so-popular areas of the country.
Some destinations are best to be visited in the summer months and some others during winter for example if you visit Crete islands, you’ll better enjoy them during the summer months. If you want to travel in winter, you can visit countries that offer activities that can be done in the winter, for example, you can visit ski resorts. If you like the sea, then you can visit during the summer months to the summer destinations and enjoy sea sports.
It is important to choose a totally different experience from what you already know, in that way, you would be able to better get to know a new culture and new people. Where are you thinking? Before visiting your destination, you can do a little bit of research and find out a little bit about their culture and also their food habits.
A quick Google search can give you insight into the countries that have cheap lifestyles and that will make your travel expenses affordable.
Some destinations are worth visiting during the festive period for example during Christmas you can visit the main cities and usually, they have dedicated places that have food markets with food and drinks that will help you get a festive mood. Most people when they are visiting a new country, just visit the main capital or major cities, but they never get to know or see what the country has to offer; they do not explore the country’s beautiful countryside which in most cases it’s much more amazing than the capital cities.
It all depends on who you’re travelling with to the country of your choice, you can visit any country alone or with friends. In modern days, everything is made easy even for solo travellers, it’s just an easy procedure to get on the plane and visit any countries that you like or can be done with a company or with your family, whichever you decide, make sure to enjoy it to the fullest.
