Piale Pasha promenade was named after the commanding general of the Ottoman army and navy, who came in Larnaca in 1571. The seafront street is a very popular spot for walks or exercise. It starts from Larnaca Medieval castle and continues to Mackenzie area.
The pathway of Piale Pasha is the perfect place for a relaxed walk by the beach. You can see and hear the waves crushing right in front of you and even if you are lucky you can see turtles swimming near you. Many people love jogging there, some prefer cycling or using their electric scooters and others prefer taking their dog for a walk. Across the pathway there are fish taverns, restaurants and cafes.
